Lastly, I chose to explore the concept of emphasis. To achieve emphasis, I blurred other elements in the photo to emphasize one (or both) of the object. In two of the photographs, I blurred the foreground to emphasize the object. I thought this added a secretive element to the images because it's like looking at the subject from behind a barrier. In the other image, the background is blurry showing the importance of the wine bottle.

Other elements: Rule of Thirds
I also chose to explore rules of thirds. Practicing rules of thirds illustrated how positioning the subject in a certain area of the photograph emphasizes the subject. For my pictures, using rule of thirds draws the viewers attention to the wine bottle and wine glasses. Also, the positions of the objects in relation to each other, as well as to the third of the photograph they inhabit, creates an interesting feeling in the photograph.
Other elements: Symmetry
The second element I chose to explore was balance. I found it a tad difficult to get good images with my object choice, since I chose 3 objects. In my pictures, the balance and symmetry emphasizes the elegance of the objects, especially with the rich color of the bed in the background.
